Route Map showing Day 04 of the TransAmerica Bicycle Trail, Eugene to Rainbow Oregon

After leaving Eugene, the route primarily followed the McKenzie River Valley. I always feel alive when listening to the sound of rushing water.

Water is incredibly adaptable. It doesn't mind the rocks. It just flows around them and continues on its way. I look forward to more going with the flow during this bicycle trip and beyond.

Apparently I have a rock and water theme going. This is the third post that has something about rocks and the second about water. Nature is inspiring!

How about you? Do you have a recent example of going with the flow around an obstacle, and not letting it slow you down or divert your purpose?

My appetite for food and sleep has grown exponentially over the past few days. Today I enjoyed Takoda's garden venue with a hearty meal.

Making memories
  • I'm staying at the lovely Harbick's Country Inn this evening, complete with laundry plus a restaurant and store just across the highway.
