It was another scorcher today! Join me as I cool off in the Salmon River and share a few stories about the generosity I've experienced along the trail.

It was irresistible to stop a small waterfall in the morning mist.

Making memories
  • I caught up on my rest at the Confluence Resort--a campground and convenience store in White Bird, Idaho.
  • I had a wonderful bite to eat at Red's Kitchen, complements of Mike.
  • I tried to meet up with Homer Brown, the owner of Hammer Down River Excursions and Army Veteran, but he was out on an adventure. I heard he has a wonderful transition story from the Army to starting a purpose-filled company. Hopefully I can return for a river excursion one day!
